another great idol departs today: i cant believe it would be olinda... i thought she would be able to make to the finals on 1st december... sigh... nothing now can bring her back to the competition... hope that she will continue to strive for her passion in singing and performing for people... it was really shocking to see olinda go, sylvester shouldnt be there, his performance last night was not up to hsi own standard... i think his fan base is getting too big, too big to accomodate to the needs of the other idol hopefuls... maybe ken lim was right that olinda and taufik was having a hard time trying to pull people to support them and all sly needs to do is to smile and girls crazy about him will be willing to spend at least a few hundred dollars to keep him in the competition... it really grieves to see yet another great talent lost...

it's been quite some time since taufik and whoever that i do not wish to mention (coz he ... u know what i want to say) worked very hard (or did sly?) to perform in the final showdown... in the singapore indoor stadium... what a lousy venue, i wished i was suntec, more elegant... some parts of the indoor stadium is quite old, went there before, didnt like the atmosphere it provides... suntec more professional in holding large stages, made a godd stage to the singapore hit awards since 2001... suntec more accessible, not like indoor stadium: only has a narrow road which jams quite often when something goes on there... why wouldnt they think of that? maybe something else is going on at suntec, but at least suntec can make up some space for singapore idol to stage there grand finals, after all this is a made-in-singapore exclusive production! it should be made special and the venue to be staged in a special way, not in a stadium which has audience from 4 sides and the air-con is very obvious...

anyway, planning to change the layout of my blog... havent been touching html for quite a while, see whether i can get something done so that i will be able to concentrate on the holiday homework later this year... still deciding on what colours to use, coz i have been using the same colours in this current blog as well as my under-construction website... maybe i should look at more of professional websites to get a good colour scheme...
